SALT LAKE CITY — All Cameron wanted for Christmas was to meet Iron Man. With the help of a friend and a cosplayer found through social media, he received the next best thing.
In November, a Reddit user by the name of Pookie85 asked the cosplay section users if anyone would be willing to dress up as Iron Man and send their friend Cameron, a 13-year-old boy in Kentucky, a Christmas greeting. An Avengers fan, Cameron's favorite character is Iron Man.
"This little guy did not ask for toys, just a visit from his hero," Pookie85 wrote on Reddit.
Though nobody could make it to Kentucky, user MartyJMcFly responded [In a video posted by Pookie85 of Cameron](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8Jkjtol7_o'target=_blankin the form of a YouTube video, wishing Cameron a happy Christmas and revering the teen's laurels.
Cameron's parents woke the teen up one morning this week to show him the video. ) watching Iron Man's message on Dec. 20, a grin touches Cameron's lips at the mention of his name. When Iron Man tells Cameron he has been "a good boy for (his) parents," Cameron's grin grows. But it's at the mention of Cameron's dog and his care of the pet when Cameron's eyes widen and his jaw drops.
"Keep rocking those Iron Man costumes and watching my movies on Netflix," cosplay Iron Man said in the video. "I hope you're excited about next year when Iron Man 3 comes out."
Cameron nods deeply in response.
When the message ends, Cameron smiles and simply said, "Whoa. It's Iron Man for me."
Pookie85 said Cameron rarely makes facial expressions and it was a "truly a blessing to see. It melted my heart."
