SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A mother gave birth to her baby early after a drunken driver allegedly crashed into her vehicle.
It happened earlier this month in Salt Lake City.
Yesterday, the drunken driver was charged with one felony and five misdemeanors.
Authorities say the man, who allegedly stole a station wagon, was speeding when he collided with the pregnant woman's vehicle at West Temple. The woman's vehicle was then thrown across West Temple into another parked vehicle.
Officials say the baby was later delivered by C-section.
