(KSL News) The internationally renowned King's Singers from England are in town for a series of concerts. Eighty-thousand tickets have been distributed.

One of the world's finest a cappella groups, the King's Singers will perform this weekend in the annual Christmas concerts with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square.

The singers have come to Utah a number of times. They performed with the choir for its weekly broadcast a year and a half ago and loved it. Christopher Gabbitas, with the King's Singers, says, "It's incredible. So, yes, spiritually it's a pinnacle to walk out onto that stage and to perform in that space with so many friends and to feel the friendship and support of the people around you."

The King's Singers and Mormon Tabernacle Choir concerts are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Conference Center at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m., volunteers from guest services will be waiting along the West Temple curb to help the elderly and disabled.
