SOCHI, Russia — Three orphaned tiger cubs have a new mom: A white Swiss shepherd dog.

The cubs were born on Nov. 14 at a zoo in Sochi, Russia and abandoned by their mother.

It wasn't the first time their mother abandoned her cubs, so this time zoo staff were prepared.

They placed an ad on the internet for an adoptive mother.

The position was filled by a white Swiss shepherd dog that also lived in Russia.

Zoo staff say the tiger cubs don't pose any threat to the dog, and they all appear to be getting along.
