(KSL News) A man accused of killing two men and burying them on his property in Iron County has waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges unrelated to the murders.

Martin C. Nelson appeared in court today on charges of failing to register as a sex offender, possession of a dangerous weapon and cultivation of a controlled substance.

After waving his right to the preliminary hearing, Nelson pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.

Murder charges are expected to be filed against Nelson in the deaths of Derek Davis and Chad Grijalva by the end of the year.
