OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- Environmental activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will visit Ogden Friday to lend support to the city's riverfront reclamation.
Kennedy will take a guided bus tour with Mayor Matthew Godfrey along the Ogden River.
Ogden is trying to clean up the river and restore riverbanks, and developers are planning residential and commercial projects along the river.
Kennedy is a scion of one of the nation's most prominent political families.
His father, Robert F. Kennedy, was a New York senator running for the Democratic presidential nomination when he was assassinated in 1968.
