The Deseret Towers at BYU started crashing to the ground today.
A wrecking ball wreaked havoc on the buildings. The sound of glass falling almost sounded like a windchime.
"So my room's got about 10 minutes before they tear it down, I think," Mathew Rolly said.
Rolly was among those who went to see the destruction and bid a found farewell to the former freshman dorm rooms and the fun that came with them.
"My roommate, when I went on Thanksgiving break, moved all of my stuff into another room," he said.
BYU is tearing down all the towers but still hasn't decided what to build in their place.
