LAYTON, Utah (AP) -- Utah's real estate market is booming. But in many areas there are too many Realtors for most to make much of a living and competition for customers is fierce.
That increased competition has led a number of agents this spring to try some creative marketing campaigns designed to attract clients.
That includes offering free televisions and paying for a full-service move. The president of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors says there's been a tremendous amount of growth in the number of Realtors in the area. In the past year alone, the Salt Lake Board of Realtors has seen its membership increase by about 13-hundred people.
