(KSL News) The life-long career of Salt Lake Tabernacle organist, John Longhurst, has come to an end.
Longhurst played his final recital as senior organist during yesterday's weekly broadcast of "Music and the Spoken Word."
He's filled the Tabernacle with music for more than 30 years.
Longhurst says he'll spend his free time with family and friends, and continue to arrange and compose music.
