(KSL News) There's been a pretty severe stench hanging over Utah County the past few days. Residents say it smells like burnt garbage.
Last Thursday, an agricultural burn fire spread into a boggy area near Utah Lake, burning up a lot of peat.
Health officials say the stink just smells bad and shouldn't cause any health concerns.
However, there is a chance it could agitate those with asthma or respiratory ailments.
