SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Utah may soon receive some money from the federal government, along with several other states who target underage drinking.
Yesterday, the U-S Department of Justice's Office of Justice Programs announced it will give 350-thousand dollars to each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia who target underage drinking.
The award money would be used to enforce the state and local laws that prevent minors from drinking.
The department says enforcing such laws will reduce access minors have to alcohol.
