(KSL News) The Utah House Minority Caucus named Representative Brad King as its new leader tonight.

King represents San Juan County and parts of Carbon, Emery and Grand counties.

Of the 75 members of Utah's House of Representatives, only 20 are Democrats.

Representative King says the job of the minority caucus is to keep issues important to its constituency before the full House.

King replaces Ralph Becker, who was elected as Salt Lake's new mayor.
