(KSL News) Newly-released information is shedding some light on the case of a Holladay man accused of using a truck to run over his wife.
The Deseret Morning News reports court documents show Sherman Lynch told his girlfriend of three months that his wife, Patricia Rothermich, was his landlord.
Lynch's girlfriend says she helped him buy a white truck for his 14-year-old son. That truck allegedly was used in the killing of Rothermich. When Lynch's girlfriend saw news reports on the death she contacted police.
Lynch is in jail on a $1 million cash-only bond. He faces life in prison.
