MONSTROPOLIS - Pixar's newest film, "Brave" opens this week and as always the animation studio is previewing their next film along with their new one, and Pixar's next effort is a familiar one. The newest preview is for the long awaited sequel to "Monsters, Inc."

The first teaser trailer for the Monsters prequel, "Monsters University" has been released online and people can't get enough. The first Monsters film pulled in more than $255 million at the box office and boasts a healthy 95-percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Funny enough, at 95-percent, "Monsters, Inc." is Pixar's third lowest rated film, not including "Brave."

The new trailer takes a look at Mike and Sulley before they were best buds scaring little ones for energy. According to the short synopsis on IMDB.com "Monsters University" takes "a look at the relationship between Mike and Sulley during their days at the University of Fear -- when they weren't necessarily the best of friends."

There's not much to the teaser, but just enough to get us interested and anxious to see our favorite monsters back in action.

"Monsters University" is scheduled to open June 21, 2013, five months after Pixar re-releases "Monsters, Inc." in 3D.
