SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Utah congressman Chris Cannon is endorsing Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
Romney's campaign made the announcement. Romney says Cannon has been effective during his decade in Congress.
Utah's two Republican senators, Orrin Hatch and Bob Bennett, are also backing Romney.
Romney has ties to Utah as head of the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. He also is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
