This story is part of an ongoing series to help raise money for Primary Children's Medical Center.SALT LAKE CITY — Irinna Danielson helped put together the Primary Children's Medical Center Telethon in 2011, the first time. But just a few months after giving birth to her third child, and not long after the telethon, she found herself at Primary Children's with her child in intensive care.
Fortunately, the hospital she helped to raise funds for, and some good insurance, took care of her and her child.
Click on the video above to see Irinna's story, as well as the story of 8-year-old Savannah, who was also helped by the telethon.
Primary Children's Hospital and KSL are joining forces for the annual "Giving Hope" campaign, and aim to raise $200,000 for the hospital this year. Rather than the 28-year- tradition telethon, donations can be contributed online.
