(KSL News) A woman accused of stealing checks belonging to her dead sister-in-law has pleaded guilty to the charges against her.

Nicky Lynn Warner was charged with forgery and identity theft in connection with trying to use checks belonging to the late Sharee Hatch.

Hatch was murdered by her husband, Warner's brother, Steven, five years ago. She will be sentenced in December and could face up to 20 years in prison.
