FARMINGTON — Amusement park enthusiasts got a sneak peek at Lagoon's newest ride "Air Race" on Thursday.
"Air race, new for 2012, features stadium seating on all the cars," said Lagoon Marketing Department spokesman Adam Leishman. "So every rider gets a bird's eye view. We have forces up to 3Gs. It's a great show for people watching down below."
AirRace replicates the thrill and sensations of an acrobatic airplane flight, with banks, loops, dives, and weightlessness, a press release from Lagoon said.
Lagoon calls Air Race a "family" thrill ride as long as family members are at least 4 feet tall.
