Greg Neft, KSL Newsradio There were some scary moments for students at one Salt Lake City elementary school today as three suspects run through while being chased by police.
For Jackson Elementary it wasn't a fun Friday. In fact, fourth-grader Amy Kirkandahl says she was crying.
Kirkandahl was getting ready for a Halloween pageant when teachers got the word. "Everybody started running for the gym like the teachers told ‘em, and I was outside and one of the teachers came outside and got me," she said.
Authorities say it all started with a stolen-car chase. "Three of the suspects have been apprehended, and [they're] looking for a fourth one who is female," explained Charlie Roberts with the Utah State Tax Commission.
Roberts says they were not armed, and no one was hurt.
