Hardee's new ginormous Country Breakfast Burrito had us talking more than probably any other story this morning. Wowzer! Two egg omelets filled with bacon, sausage, diced ham, cheddar cheese, hash browns and sausage gravy, all wrapped inside a flour tortilla.

We've already checked with Carl's Jr (Hardee's out here) and so far I don't think the uber-burrito is coming here. The west doesn't do sausage gravy that well I've found. Being from rural Missouri, I love sausage gravy. But however intriguing this new breakfast item looks, the fact that it contains 920 calories and 60 grams of fat is quite disturbing. I would hope a family would order it and split it amongst themselves. Doug Wright is talking about it right now. A caller identified as "Tiny" just called in and said he's over 6 feet tall and 300 pounds, and he'd eat the Country Breakfast Burrito all by himself no problem. He says he's done with all the weight loss things he's tried so why not embrace the Country Breakfast Burrito.

Even though I can hear my arteries clogging, I've got to admit all those ingredients mixed together do sound tasty. At least for one bite.
