(KSL News) Two hikers who got stuck in Little Cottonwood Canyon are home safe this morning.
The 17- and 18-year-olds spend the day hiking near Hell's Gate and climbed up to the Hell's Gate buttress near Alta. However, they were unable to get down by themselves.
A search and rescue chopper found them, and just before 1 a.m. rescue crews helped walk them down the mountain.
