SALT LAKE CITY — As 17-year-old Eddie entered EnergySolutions Arena on a recent visit with KSL News, his huge smile was already spreading across his face.
Eddie loves basketball, and was totally star struck by all of the Jazz players, coaches and past stars who stopped to say hello. But as starry-eyed as he was, he didn't blow his chance to shoot some hoops on the court before the game.
Birthday: 11/94
Age: 17
Year in school: 11th
Interests: Sports, video games, auto mechanics
Eddie is a charming and talented young man with a great sense of humor and infec-tious personality. He is a great athlete to whom sports come naturally. He especially enjoys basketball and football. Eddie would like to work in an auto shop one day.
Eddie is good-natured, positive and just fun to be around. "I'm athletic and outgoing," he told KSL News.

He's also resilient. Eddie has been in foster care for five years, and in more homes than he can count.
Of course, Eddie hopes to become a permanent part of someone's family; hopes to have parents and possibly siblings to play sports with and share his life with.
If his future family is watching, or reading, Eddie has three words for you: "Come find me."
