FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Mike Felt hit five 3-pointers and scored 16 points to lead five players in double figures, and North Dakota State cruised to an 85-64 victory over Southern Utah on Thursday night.

Taylor Braun and Marshall Bjorklund added 14 points apiece, Lawrence Alexander had 13 and Eric Carlson scored 10 for the Bison (15-7, 8-4 Summit), who opened the game on a 16-2 run and never looked back.

Jackson Stevenett, Southern Utah's leading scorer coming in, had 16 points and Damon Heuir added 12 for the Thunderbirds (12-11, 7-6), who saw their three-game winning streak snapped.

The long-range shooting disparity was a big part of the outcome. North Dakota State hit 7 of its 17 3-point attempts, while Southern Utah was just 1 of 2 from beyond the arc.

With the win, North Dakota State held onto third place in the Summit League. Southern Utah fell from fourth to fifth.
