SALT LAKE CITY — This week's Wednesday's Child may not have much to say, but his smile speaks a thousand words. Dominic is the first child we have profiled who has some special needs, and his biggest need is a loving home.

Dominic is a 9-years-old who has a huge, disarming smile. He also suffers from autism.

Child Profile
Dominic
Birthday: 03/2002
Age: 9
Year in school: 4th
Special Interests: "Cars" movie, soccer
Dominic makes friends with anyone and everyone he meets. He likes helping others and is very sensitive to everyone's feelings. Dominic enjoys scooting around on his bike, playing on his soccer team, and anything to do with the movie "Cars"!

When he talks, it sometimes seems like Dominic isn't making sense. But the more you listen to him, the more you realize he is responding to you, and his surroundings.

"For sure! Go bowling," he shouted as he rolled his bowling ball down the lane at FatCats fun center.

Dominic loves to bowl. He also loves puzzles, the movie "Cars", and playing games.

He's currently in foster care, needing a permanent family. And while he does have some special needs, he has more than enough love to give.
