(KSL News) -- Governor John Huntsman Jr. put the pedal to the medal today to open the new Motocross track in Tooele.
Wearing number 16, the Governor indulged in one of his favorite pastimes while promoting what is hoped to be an important attraction for the state.
Gov. Huntsman: "This is really highlighting a world class destination that I think few people realize exists here in our state. In the next few years, you're going to see some world class races, car and bike, come out here to this race track. And I'm just very very excited about it."
The track was built by Jazz owner Larry H. Miller.
