SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Salt Lake City police who were looking for a man suspected of taking his baby after a domestic dispute got a little help from some little friends.
Police say a group of children found the man hiding with the baby girl in a neighbor's plastic playhouse.
The man was arrested and the child was recovered safely.
Police say the child's mother reported that the man hit her with a belt and held a knife to her eye, the dragged her outside.
Neighbors intervened and the man ran indoors, grabbed the 6-month old girl and fled. The children found him about two blocks away.
