(KSL News) -- A leader for the LDS Church updated Salt Lake's City Council tonight on the downtown construction project.
He says they're moving forward with plans but stopped short of many specifics.
H. David Burton, Presiding Bishop, LDS Church: "A lot of progress has been made in terms of our commitment downtown. It remains strong. It remains stronger than it was I think when we started this 30 months ago."
Burton says the Church does not have a timetable for demolition nor construction.
KSL Newsradio reports Burton told the City Council no one should plan on any tax revenue for at least the next couple years
