(KSL News) Police in West Valley are still looking for a man who walked away from a sex offender correctional facility.
Offcials say 28-year-old Kerby Vuong asked for permission to leave the Fremont Correctional Center on Saturday. Permission was denied, but he left anyway.
Nearby police agencies and search dogs were called in to try and track him down. Friends and family say Vuong saw himself on TV and wanted to turn himself in, but he is still at large.
The center will determine what charges he will face, but he will most likely go back to prison.
