(KSL News) -- A group of stranded hikers were rescued this morning near Bridal Veil Falls.
The three hikers called for help last night when they became stuck in Provo Canyon just below a lift house last night.
They told rescuers it was too icy to hike down.
Because it was dark, Search and Rescue crews planned to just drop off supplies via a helicopter.
But they were able to rescue the group around 1:00 this morning.
Officials say hikers frequently get stuck at Bridal Veil Falls.
The hike is easier to get up than down, and many people don't come prepared with proper shoes or supplies.
