(KSL News) -- The Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office opened a new sub-station in Riverton.
They invited the public to come check out the facility today during an open house.
Twenty-seven deputies will work out of the new building and it will serve the communities of Riverton, Bluffdale, and Herriman.
Another sub-station is slated to open in Herriman later this year.
