(KSL News) -- A car hit and killed a man trying to cross North Temple near 1990 W. late Friday night.
Witnesses say the 52-year-old man appeared to be staggering and he looked around before crossing. A 20-year-old female driver says she did not see him at all.
The man died at the scene.
Police are investigating and they do not know yet if drugs, alcohol or speed was involved. Police say it is a dark area and pedestrians should always use traffic lights and cross walks.
A homeless woman was hit and killed in the same area a few weeks ago.
