SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Mitt Romney is on the ballot for the Utah presidential primary. State Senate President John Valentine filed the paperwork necessary to include the Republican presidential hopeful in Utah's presidential primary election in February.
Valentine presented the Lieutenant Governor's Office with a $500 check from the Romney campaign and a notarized letter naming Valentine as Romney's official representatives
The lieutenant governor's chief of staff Joe Demma says Democrat John Edwards filed last week and Republican John McCain will file next week, said All candidates must file by Oct. 15.
