The billboard sign at Bountiful High School may sum up the frustrations of many. It says, "Apparently no sport has been invented that can be played on wet grass."
For baseball coach Clark Stringfellow, it's been a frustrating few weeks.
"This is crazy," Stringfellow says.
At the baseball field, Stringfellow examines a muddy, soggy infield after another game has been cancelled.
"Not going to happen today. If it's not going to happen at Cyprus, it's not going to happen here," Stringfellow says.
The Braves haven't played a home game yet. Their regular season starts tomorrow. In a decade of coaching, Stringfellow says he's never had to cancel so many games, nor have others.
"We've got to get out and get a feel for our own home field," Stringfellow says. "Right now we don't have a home field. We're trying to get to that point."
