(KSL News) An explosion burned a worker at an electromechanical plant in St. George.
It happened yesterday at the Ram Company.
The man had been testing equipment using alcohol and nitrogen gas. Fire crews don't know yet exactly how the explosion happened, but it started a fire and caught the man's shirt on fire.
Other workers grabbed a fire blanket and doused the flames.
The man is in the hospital this morning with second degree burns on his face, ears, and neck.
