(KSL News) -- Helicopters carrying soldiers with the Utah National Guard took off in West Jordan today, headed for training to fight the war in Iraq.
Thirty-five soldiers with the guard's Alpha Company, 2-211th Aviation took off in Blackhawk helicopters. They're heading to Fort Hood, Texas this morning.
They'll undergo several months of training there before serving in Iraq.
