(KSL News) Southbound traffic on I-215 was closed for two hours today when a tractor-trailer caught on fire.

The truck's gas tank was struck by some sort of shovel that fell off of another truck, and it immediately caught fire.

All southbound lanes were shut down at 4500 South and I-215. Northbound lanes were also restricted.

Crews took two hours to clean up the diesel fuel and wreckage.

All lanes of traffic are up and running again.
