With this kind of supportive attitude I'm not surprised Roger's Sandy company, Vector Structural Engineering, is doing so well. They hire the best Utah has to offer. In the last year and a half Roger has hired four new engineers, adding to his staff of 18 and contributing to Utah's job creation, which is critical for our state's success. He's also doing about $2 million in business annually.
Roger has figured out a strategic business dynamic in diversifying his product and customer portfolio. His attitude toward his top customers is to "latch on" and fulfill engineering needs with impeccable service, follow through and commitment to their client's success. He claims this business maneuver is not only what pulled Vector Structural Engineering through challenging times but also helped them grow! His business manager, and right hand man, also has the ability to point out areas to develop.
The engineering staff has the talent on board to work on commercial, residential and telecommunication towers. This company is licensed in all 50 states to design "cell trees" for telecommunication companies, which are fake trees that hide antennas. Last year alone this group did 1,100 telecomm projects, making them a specialist in one of the areas their diverse business model covers.
The place is teaming with Cougars, Utes and Aggies, all working together in the same room no less. At Vector Structural Engineering they like to support the community in a quiet way by giving money to a youth sports team or providing funds for a student who needs the money for college. When it's all said and done this is a talented group of guys doing extraordinary work.
