(KSL News) -- Federal Express has settled a labor suit alleging race and gender discrimination at its northern Utah branch.

The US Labor Department brought the suit after discovering 391 minority and female applicants had been rejected for positions over the past two years.

Under terms of the settlement, FedEx will pay the applicants back wages and hire more than seventy minority and female employees in Northern Utah.
