(KSL News) -- An American Fork High School student has won America's oldest, most prestigious science competition.
Eighteen-year old Shannon Babb tonight received a 100-thousand dollar college scholarship from Science Talent Search.
Babb, studied pollution in the Spanish Fork River for six months and determined the problem is caused by humans.
She has already developed a program to stop the pollution.
