(KSL News) A former Utah State University football player accused of rape pleaded guilty to a reduced charge.
Jerod Walker will not have to register as a sex offender for pleading guilty to felony aggravated assault and class A misdemeanor sexual battery.
He was initially charged with first-degree felony aggravated sexual abuse.
Walker will be sentenced Nov. 19. He faces up to six years in prison.
