Mary Richards reportingWomansavers.Com appears to be a place where the scorned woman can vent. But, its creator says it's also a place for abused women to find help, and to warn other women about bad guys.
The creator of Womansavers.com, Stephanie, says the site is the world's largest database ranking men.
Stephanie: "A woman can anonymously post about any guy she's had an experience with."
Stephanie doesn't give her last name; she says she's received death threats for this site. She also protects the women who post here.
Stephanie: "A lot of these women have been abused; there's a lot of bad stuff in this database."
The database lists everything from personal information about the guy's habits to his aliases on dating websites like match.com.
Stephanie: "Statistics show that one-third of married men are online, scamming around."
So far it seems like a place for the scorned woman to have her revenge, but Stephanie says it's designed to help abused women. It's also to warn women.
Stephanie: "If I can save one woman from being raped, or a child from being molested, or a woman from being beat up, this whole site was worthwhile," she says.
It has a chatroom, jokes and articles.
Stephanie: "This purging process, this venting, and realizing that millions of women have dealt with the same thing, helps you think, 'I'm not crazy, I can get through this.' It's a real positive thing I think."
But don't worry men, there will soon be a place for you too. Stephanie is launching ratebeforeyoudate.com next month.
