(KSL News) A parole fugitive is back in jail today after leading police on a chase in Taylorsville.
Police first spotted 35-year-old Manuel Martinez driving in West Valley yesterday morning. But when he saw police, he tried to ram the officers' car. He scraped the side of it and then took off.
Martinez led police to Taylorsville where he jumped out of his car and tried to run.
He now faces charges of aggravated assault against police, fleeing, and he has an outstanding warrant. Court records show he has a history of drug-related crimes.
