(KSL News) The weather may have seemed a little more like the Fourth of July, but Utahns still celebrated Labor Day in all the usual ways.

Utahns Celebrate Labor Day Across the State

Labor unions, of course, held their celebrations. One group held a picnic in Magna that came complete with a car show and entertainment for the kids.

There was also a Labor Day picnic in Pioneer Park sponsored by the Salt Lake Mission. It was organized for those who may not feel they have much to celebrate this holiday.

Utahns Celebrate Labor Day Across the State

Organizers estimate they served at least 1,000 meals. They also handed out clothing.

And the annual Labor Day Parade in Park City was a big draw. It's a tradition for both new and old residents of Park City to celebrate the labor and mining origins of the town.

In Park City they call this Miner's Day, and the parade is just part of a day-long celebration.
