(KSL News) Questions go unanswered for the family of a man stabbed to death in Taylorsville.

Patricia Cano was outside with her father-in-law, Isidro Cano, Wednesday night.

She says a man approached them and said to her, "Ma'am I want to kill someone today."

She took off running, but it was too late for her father-in-law. He was on the phone when the man stabbed him several times in the back, eventually killing him.

Police arrested David Berry and are holding him in the Salt Lake County Jail on suspicion of murder.

Meanwhile, the family is planning a funeral for Cano, who was on vacation from Mexico.
