SALT LAKE CITY — Voting has begun for the Most Beautiful Eyes contest, which will award significant scholarships to children garnering the most online nods for their sets of peepers.
The contest, which goes until Sept. 30, is sponsored by Prevent Blindness America and aims to bring attention to eye health and get parents thinking about "how precious their child's vision is," said organization president and CEO Hugh Parry.
Daily voting will help child entrants earn various prizes, including a trip to Chicago in November for the awards banquet and college scholarships up to $25,000.
