(KSL News) A former nanny is facing 18 counts of sexually exploiting a minor.

David Busby has been suspected of inappropriate relationships with children in the past, but has never been charged due to lack of evidence. But now, authorities say they've found pictures on a digital camera of a naked 13-year-old Busby used to baby sit.

Authorities say a Salt Lake family hired Busby as a live-in nanny for three children in 2002. The father said he witnessed inappropriate touching between Busby and his children, so he fired Busby and ordered a protective order against him. Busby fought the protective order all the way to the Supreme Court, but lost.

The mother says she found letters from Busby to her kids telling them he'd never stop loving them or fighting to be with them. Busby also faces allegations he inappropriately touched children he taught as a ski instructor in Park City.

Busby now faces up to 15 years in prison.
