Tooele Valley, Utah -- There will be a very diverse menu of events on tap August 12-14, at Miller Motorsports Park.
On Friday, August 12, MMP will host the third stage of the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah. This will be an Individual Time Trial stage, with riders racing against the clock over a 9.0-mile course that includes the 4.5-mile Full Course of the road racing track and the surrounding perimeter roads.
A perennial favorite of both riders and fans alike, Miller Motorsports Park is a truly unique venue in the world of professional cycling. Spectators will get an up-close and personal look at the world's top cyclists as they warm up for the "race of truth," and riders will have the opportunity to test themselves and their machines on the twists and turns of one of the best motorsports tracks in the world. At a fraction under 10 miles, it's possible the day's champion will blister the course in under 20 minutes!
The event gets underway at 5:00 pm and should conclude at approximately 8:00 pm.

On Saturday, August 13, MMP is hosting Mud Run MS, which is a fundraising event to benefit Multiple Sclerosis. It is described as an "adventure race," a 10k run through 30 obstacles, all of which involve mud. The course is being constructed on the acreage across the street from MMP. Participants can enter as individuals or teams. This is a great, fun, messy fundraising event that is going to be crazy!
The event gets underway at 9:00 am and should conclude at approximately 2:00 pm

Also on Saturday will be Round 6 of Miller Motorsports Park's Speedway Karts and Quarter-Midgets championship, held at the Miller Kart Track. This racing series was developed by Miller Motorsports Park to encourage and develop kart and quarter-midget racing in Utah and the surrounding region, and an oval track has been constructed on the west side of the Miller Kart Track facility to accommodate them. These groups are growing in size with every race weekend, and is another fun and interesting facet of the many kinds of racing that are available at Miller Motorsports Park. Karting and quarter-midgets are not only the most popular method for young people to learn racing skills that will help them advance up the racing ladder, but also a great family-oriented recreational activity. Racers will be competing for trophies and points in their respective classes.
