(KSL News) Two Utah National Guardsmen have been killed in a helicopter crash in western Utah County.

Major Hank McIntire tells us the chopper went down west of Lake Mountain, in the Cedar Valley area.

He couldn't confirm whether it's an Apache helicopter, but the guard does operate a fleet of Apaches.

Sgt. Spencer Cannon of the Utah County Sheriff's Office did confirm to us that two people have died.

We have a crew on the scene, and we'll have a complete report Tuesday morning on Eyewitness News Today.
