ALPINE -- A quick response Saturday afternoon saved an Alpine home from being destroyed.
Fire crews responded to a house fire around 2 p.m. Saturday when residents discovered a fire in their garage.
By the time fire crews arrived at the scene, the flames had spread to the kitchen and other parts of the house. But crews were able to quickly stop the fire from spreading any further.
There were no injuries sustained in the fire. Officials are still uncertain as to how the fire started.
