Keith McCord ReportingThroughout the Torino games, we'll turn the clock back to four years ago in Salt Lake City. Keith McCord has a look at Day Two of the Olympics in 2002.

This is the day when the Olympic Games really begin. The Opening Ceremonies party is out of the way from the night before, and the cauldron is now burning. So, here's a look back at some of the DayTwo activities going on during "Our Olympics".

Remembering Salt Lake Olympics, Day 2

With the city all decked out, with wrapped high rises under bright sunny skies, the games were now underway. In the mountains, skiers battled their way in the moguls competition. In town, the Beach Boys did their best to warm up the crowds on a chilly afternoon. The medals plaza was packed! A few blocks away, those who didn't have tickets to the events, scrambled to buy them...

Olympic organizers had set up ticket exchange offices for people to buy and sell, but ticket brokers--many who came from out of state-- were doing big business too. Reselling tickets was legal, as long as the sellers weren't working as a ticket broker business. Some scalpers were issued citations for violating that law.

There were some transportation frustrations, TRAX trains were overflowing.

"We've been waiting. Trains keep coming and we can't get on because they're too full."

Additional buses were brought in to get people moving. It was a minor snafu for a transportation plan which ultimately worked very well through the entire 2002 games.
